Environmental Disparity in the Palestinian Territories
ILLINOIS
Bekah Wolf has been working for Palestinian civil, political and human rights for over a decade. She lived for 5 years in the Hebron District village of Beit Ommar where she co-founded the Palestine Solidarity Project and Center for Freedom and Justice. As a law student at UC Hastings, Bekah has written extensively on Palestine and international law. She was recently a legal researcher for the Applied Research Institute-Jerusalem where she worked closely with the Water and Natural Resources Departments in producing a comprehensive report on Environmental Disparity in Palestine.
We welcome Bekah Wolf for a lecture on the environmental effects of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories, most notably water disparity and the uprooting of thousands of olive trees over the last couple of years.
