SUMMARY:Environmental Disparity in the Palestinian Territories
DESCRIPTION:ILLINOIS\n\nBekah Wolf has been working for Palestinian civil\,
  political and human rights for over a decade. She lived for 5 years in th
 e Hebron District village of Beit Ommar where she co-founded the Palestine
  Solidarity Project and Center for Freedom and Justice. As a law student a
 t UC Hastings\, Bekah has written extensively on Palestine and internation
 al law. She was recently a legal researcher for the Applied Research Insti
 tute-Jerusalem where she worked closely with the Water and Natural Resourc
 es Departments in producing a comprehensive report on Environmental Dispar
 ity in Palestine.\n\nWe welcome Bekah Wolf for a lecture on the environmen
 tal effects of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories\, mos
 t notably water disparity and the uprooting of thousands of olive trees ov
