The Annual “Celebrating Success” Banquet recognizes Arab American Professionals who have proven success in their fields and are furthering the interest of the Arab American Professional Community. Awardees are Arab Americans actively involved in their communities and are professional leaders in the fields of Legal, Finance, Medical, Education, Technology and or Creative Arts.

The Chamber also awards the “Champion of Diversity”, which was created to recognize and commend businesses and individuals for their support of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, in turn transforming our community into a truly inclusive environment where individuals are valued for their talent and able to reach their full potential.

This year’s keynote speaker is Jacques Panis, President of Shinola. In the spring of 2013, Shinola produced 50,000 luxury watches in just nine months at their factory in Detroit, and now they are on track to craft over 150,000 watches annually and plan to open eight stores per year over the next five years. With over 10 years of experience spanning marketing, branding, and sales, Jacques Panis joined Shinola in 2010 to direct the company’s product development and strategic direction, becoming President in 2013.
