The MCC Adult Education Committee Presents a weekend seminar covering the Medinan period of the Sirah with Shaykh Samir al-Nass.

“There is in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example for you” (33:21)

We have a shining example in the Prophet ﷺ found in the studies of Prophetic Biography (Seerah). In it, we find that which illuminates the hearts to the Prophetic meanings of mercy, strength, and wisdom. The Medinan period highlights the building of a society, the canonization of a legal code, and the joining of hearts between the Muhajireen and the Ansar. We find joyous times, such as the Battle of Badr and Conquest of Khaybar, and grievous times such as the loss of the Prophet’s ﷺ uncle Hamza, the great Sa’d ibn Muadh, and the loss of many of his beloved children (Allah be pleased with them all).
