Arabic Art & Film Night

The Arab American Heritage Council (AAHC) will host an afternoon of laughter and art, starting with a cocktail hour featuring Arabic foods. The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 26th and will begin with a performance by comedian Amer Zahr, followed by a screening of his new documentary “We’re Not White.” The film takes a comedic and informative approach to the Arab-American struggle to get a box on the United States Census Form. The event ends with a slam poetry performance by the RAISE IT UP! Youth Poetry Team.
