Zogby/AAI Poll: How Arab Americans Will Vote in 2008 and Why

Dr. James Zogby, President of the Arab American Institute, will present the results of the first of two surveys on Arab American political opinion leading up to the 2008 presidential election at a press conference on Thursday, September 18, 2008.

The purpose of the survey is to gauge Arab American voter preference in the upcoming election and to determine the issues that will motivate their vote. Arab American voters are a key demographic in several battleground states including Michigan, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida.

The nationwide AAI telephone poll, conducted by Zogby International, randomly surveyed Arab Americans by live operators from Zogby International’s in-house call center in Upstate New York. The press conference will take place at 11 a.m. at the St. Regis, 923 16th Street NW, Washington, DC 20006.
