Questscope Seeks U.S. Development Director
Questscope is an international non-profit organization successfully addressing two of the most fundamental challenges in the Middle East today – the anger and alienation of youth and the marginalization of women. For more than 15 years, its innovative programs and methodologies have been transforming the lives of thousands of poor, vulnerable and rejected individuals in a region of the world where 60% of the population is under the age of 21, millions are refugees, and youth unemployment is the highest in the world.
Questscope’s headquarters are in Amman, Jordan, where a team of 40 Arab staff work in partnership with 50 community and governmental agencies, 5 local universities, and more than 3000 volunteers to implement Questscope’s programs.
Questscope’s partners include UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), the European Union, the World Bank, UNICEF, and the Center for Restorative Justice/Prison Fellowship.
Due to the effectiveness and strategic significance of its programs, Questscope has a number of opportunities to bring its innovative approach to social development to other Arab countries. To assure that it will have the financial resources needed to fully capitalize on these opportunities; Questscope seeks a full-time, results-oriented professional to serve as its U.S. Development Director.
