Lincoln's Legacy: The Struggle for Equality Continues...Civil Liberties and the Arab American Community, at the Arab American National Museum April 22nd
The Arab American National Museum is hosting a town hall meeting on Wednesday, April 22nd from 7-9pm.
The event will examine the legacy of President Abraham Lincoln as it relates to equality, civil liberties and the Arab American community, as part of the celebration of the bicentennial of Lincoln’s birth.
Following the screening of a Detroit Public Television film on the subject, civil liberties attorney Noel Saleh and Kary Moss, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union-Michigan, will take part in a discussion with the audience moderated by Warren David of www.ArabDetroit.com.
