JetBlue Partners With Arab Emirates
Sharing is caring, and now JetBlue Airways and Emirates Airlines are right on top of that. The two have agreed as of today (Monday, Nov. 15) to sell tickets on each other’s flights.
What does that mean for the U.S. traveler? Basically, U.S. passengers can buy tickets through JetBlue to destinations that Emirates serves around the world. Some destinations include: Auckland, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Nairobi, Singapore and Sydney, ten cities in India, the Maldives, Mauritius and the Seychelles.
JetBlue currently has similar partnerships with American Airlines, South African Airways and Aer Lingus.
Emirates customers can do the same, buy purchasing tickets to U.S. cities that are on JetBlue’s route lists through JFK’s hub. Right now, Emirates flies two nonstop flights a day from New York to its main hub in Dubai.
Details on prices are expected in the coming days on both airlines’ web sites.
