DESCRIPTION:MARYLAND\n\nWe live in a world that wages a war on our nafs (so
 ul). We are incessantly bombarded by influences from our friends and famil
 y\, communities\, and society at large. It has become a challenge to restr
 ain our desires\, discipline our thoughts\, and correct our actions in ord
 er to stay on the path of Allah SWT as shown through Prophet Muhammad SAW 
 and upon the understanding of the righteous predecessors.\n\nWe are all st
 ruggling with unique forms of spiritual battles with one thing in common a
 nd that is that we are a generation "lost" in "whispers”. We must fight 
 the desires that then encompass our mind and manifest in our actions.\n\nE
 very victory begins with proper preparation. For the youth today\, this pr
 eparation is knowledge. Young Muslims intends to provide the blueprints to
  this knowledge\, and urges you to join us in this year’s Youth Conferen
 ce. With discussions on how to inhale the good and exhale the bad of our e
 nvironment\, whether it comes from our internal selves or it comes from ou
 r external surroundings\, we want to bring strength and courage to our you
 th by teaching them what it means to banish the falsehood and stand for th
 e truth.\n\n
