DESCRIPTION:MARYLAND\n\nWe are going to screen the movie "Where Should The 
 Birds Fly"\n\nIt is the first film about Gaza made by Palestinians living 
 the reality of Israel’s siege and blockade of this tiny enclave.\n\nIt i
 s the story of two young women\, survivors of Israel’s Operation Cast Le
 ad. Mona Samouni\, now 12 years old and the filmmaker\, Fida Qishta\, now 
 27\, represent the spirit and future of Palestinians.\n\nThe film is a vis
 ual documentation of the Goldstone Report. But it is so much more. It reve
 als the strength and hope\, the humanity and humor that flourishes among t
 he people of Gaza. Few films document so powerfully and personally the imp
 act of modern warfare and sanctions on a civilian population.\n\nhttp://wh

 d programs that provide mental health and trauma services to Palestinian c
 hildren in Gaza.\n\nAll registrants receive a COOL Palestine-themed bracel
 et. Donations of $5 or more will also get you a COOL bracelet.
