 d attitude toward the West of this terror group.\n\nDr. David Carlson has 
 been a member of the religious studies department at Franklin College for 
 thirty-seven years. David’s book Peace Be with You: Monastic Wisdom for 
 a Terror-Filled World was published by Thomas Nelson in 2011. The book was
  given a starred review by both Library Journal and Publisher’s Weekly. 
 Library Journal also named Peace Be with You as one of the best books of 2
 011 in the area of Spiritual Living.\nDavid’s second book on faith respo
 nses to religious terrorism is Countering ISIS: The Power of Spiritual Fri

 :15 am\nDr. Shahid Athar (born in Patna\, India) a U.S. citizen\, is a Cli
 nical Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine and an 
 Endocrinologist in private practice in Carmel. He is founder and past pres
 ident of Interfaith Alliance of Indiana and Islamic Society of Greater Ind
 ianapolis. Dr. Athar will explain the main principles of Islam and the Kor
 an. Pastor Jerry has given him some questions to answer in his lectures as
  well.\n\n\nWhat is Jihad? We hear individuals call for a Jihad against th
 e west. Does it say that in the Koran?\n\nAre there scriptures in the Kora
 n that call for Muslims to kill people who aren't Muslim?\n\nWhat is Shari
