DESCRIPTION:CALIFORNIA\n\nVictor Issa's work has become known for its breat
 htaking realism\, rich emotion\, perfect proportion\, dynamic composition 
 and exquisite detail. This ability to infuse bronze with "life" has earned
  Victor the moniker of Creating Living Bronze™.\n\nAn immigrant from Leb
 anon as a high school graduate in 1973\, exposure to and training in fine 
 art was a rare thing during his younger years. Yet Issa's gifts were appar
 ent as manifested by his continuous drawing on any candidate surface.\n\nV
 ictor received his sculpture training at the University of Nebraska\, Linc
 oln and a BS degree in Art Education at Union College\, Lincoln\, NE. His 
 work is collected worldwide. Some of his public installations can be seen 
 in California\, Colorado\, Florida\, Kansas\, Maryland\, Michigan\, and Te
 xas. In the past few years\, Victor has completed four major works. They i
 nclude Come Unto Me\, a 9-figure composition for Loma Linda University Chi
 ldren's Hospital\, and Healing at Bethesda\, commissioned for Adventist He
 alth headquartered at Orlando Florida. His most recent commission is by Th
 e World Lebanese Cultural Union and is a larger-than-life portrait of Leba
 nese poet\, Gibran Khalil Gibran.\n\n
