Delegates will examine vital topics including settlement infrastructure, displacement in East Jerusalem, Palestinian refugees, militarization within Israeli society, and more. Interfaith Peace-Builders is built upon a belief in the power of eye-witness experience and personal transformation. Delegates will have the opportunity to visit Palestinian communities, meet a variety of Palestinian and Israeli grassroots organizers and human rights group, and connect with other North Americans interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the situation.

LOGISTICS: The cost of the delegation will be $2400. This includes 13 days of the delegation, hotel and home stay accommodations, breakfasts and dinners, local transportation, guides, speaker/event fees, basic tips and gratuities.
The cost does not include domestic and international airfare. Interfaith Peace-Builders works with a local travel agent in Jerusalem to secure the best group rates for the delegation to travel together on the same flight from Washington, DC to Israel/Palestine. Therefore, delegates do not need to book their own international airfare.

IFPB combines knowledgeable leaders from the US with experienced local guides from Israel/Palestine to ensure every delegation is introduced to a wide range of perspectives and background.

Leading our July-August 2015 delegation:

MICHAEL BROWNMichael Brown is the former executive director of Partners for Peace and Washington correspondent for Middle East International. In 2006-2007 he was a fellow at the Palestine Center. He worked off and on in the Gaza Strip between 1993 and 2000 for the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme and the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights. His op-eds on Israel/Palestine have been published in the International Herald Tribune, The News & Observer, and The San Diego Union Tribune as well as online at TheNation.com. A former IFPB board member, Michael continues to work today on the media and Palestine. Michael led a general IFPB delegation in 2008 and an IFPB delegation to the Gaza Strip in 2012.
ANDREW DALACKAndrew Dalack graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2014 and works for a public defender office in New York City. Andrew is co-chair of the National Lawyers Guild’s Palestine Subcommittee and works closely with Palestine Solidarity Legal Support to provide legal advice to Palestine solidarity activists around the country. Andrew also sits on the US Palestinian Community Network’s coordinating committee.
