In these sessions, you will be drilled in traditional travelling steps, centering and axial movements, fluid arm movements and traditional gestures.You will be drilled in the proper execution of movements that involve articulation of hips and torso in the Lebanese style. Ibrahim Farrah technique of basic finger cymbal patterns will be introduced as well as traditional use of the veil.

Belly Dance or what I would rather refer to as Middle Eastern Dance comes from the Middle East and in this class we will strive to maintain that essence through the use of traditional Middle Eastern Music and Movement!
