BCARS’ second annual Graduate Student Conference, The Arab Uprisings, 2010-2015, aims to illuminate the evolving regional and international dimensions of the Arab Spring. How are regional players coping with the crisis? What has been the international community’s response? What external actors are “meddling” in the internal affairs of various Arab states and why? How do people interpret, negotiate, and redefine their roles as citizens in this evolving context?
