 ian American Medical Society will discuss the Syrian crisis\, including th
 e 12 million Syrians who are refugees or internally displaced. They also w
 ill present on the thriving Syrian American community in the U.S. that has
  mobilized to provide humanitarian assistance to their homeland. The U.S. 
 will be resettling thousands of Syrian refugees in the next few years\, an
