 lamic State” in Iraq and Syria (aka ISIS). This group has changed the di
 scourse on the post-Arab Spring Middle East\, obscuring the lines between 
 friends and enemies and opening another chapter in America’s “war on t
 error.” David Schanzer will address its origins and ideology\, and field
  questions on its meaning for future U.S. policy in the region.\n\nTIME: 4
 :30 to 6:00 p.m.\n\nAll Humanities in Action events take place at Flyleaf
