DESCRIPTION:\n\nDISTRICT OF COLUMBIA\n\nThe North African Trade &amp\; Inve
 stment Mission to the United States\, the first such visit of its kind\, i
 ncludes high-level government officials and business executives from multi
 ple sectors. The goals for the mission include:\n\n	Meeting American compa
 nies interested in trade and investment opportunities in North Africa\;\n	
 Gaining insights into programs supporting small and medium-sized enterpris
 es in the United States\;\n	Identifying partnership opportunities in the U
 .S. public and private sectors for North African businesses.\n\n\nThe Nort
 h African Trade &amp\; Investment Mission is organized under the auspices 
 of the Federation of Maghreb Chambers of Commerce and the leadership of th
 e Secretary General of the Arab Maghreb Union\, a regional organization co
 mprised of the five North African countries of Algeria\, Libya\, Mauritani
 a\, Morocco and Tunisia. The Arab Maghreb Union works to establish coopera
 tion and collaboration across countries and economic sectors.\n\n\n\nConfe
