 nual event that brings together artists from the Middle East\, the Balkans
 \, and the Mediterranean with students from all over the world\, to learn 
 and experience the musical traditions of those regions. This year's editio
 n\, "The Music of Persia"\, will bring into focus various traditions from 
 the Balkans and the Caucasus\, with an emphasis on Persian music. It will 
 feature world-renowned names from the Persian tradition\, the Pletenitsa B
 alkan Choir\, the Middle Eastern Fusion Festival band\, the Berklee World 
 Strings (directed by Eugene Friesen) and many other special guests.\n\n
