 ty Council needs your help to attend and contribute to their annual and ve
 ry unique event:\nMichigan Muslim Capitol Day\, Tuesday May 15th from 9:00
 AM to 3:30PM\nMichigan Muslims Capitol Day is an annual event that MMCC ha
 s hosted and organized for the past several years. Participants attend mee
 tings with their legislators and/or state senators\, enjoy lunch with them
 \, talk about issues pertinent in their communities\, hear speakers from t
 he Muslim communities across MI and network with a group of robust individ
 uals.\n\nAttended by 200+ people from across the state\, it is the only e
 vent of its kind that empowers the Muslim communities and youth to have a
  voice in Lansing where policies and laws are passed.\n\nEach year Capitol
  Day gets bigger\, better and LOUDER. We want more participation at this v
 ery crucial times for Muslims and non-Whites\, where our safety is in jeop
 ardy. However this will cost us more money\, because we need to provide tr
 ansportation\, more space\, more food and more staff that ever before.\n\n
