SUMMARY:Kinan Abou-afach and Ayman Alalao
DESCRIPTION:PENNSYLVANIA\n\nKinan Abou-afach and Ayman Alalao present a per
formance of digitally created visuals with live and pre-recorded music. Th
e performance takes the audience through non-linear storytelling where sou
nds generate visual patterns and illustrations created live on stage. Perf
ormed with musicians Kinan Abou-afach on cello\, Hanna Khoury on violin\,
and Hafez Kotain on percussion\, this collaborative work touches on themes
of Arab heritage\, history\, and politics. Live projections generated by
audio recognition technology that interprets each instrument separately wi
ll create a dynamic visual and musical narrative.\n\n*Al-Bustan is committ
