 niors and first-year college students in Fall 2015\n\nCAIR-CA presents\, t
 he 11th annual Muslim Youth Leadership Program (MYLP): Empowering the yout
 h of today to become the leaders of tomorrow.\n\nThe Muslim Youth Leadersh
 ip Program is an intensive\, four-day retreat in Sacramento designed to in
 troduce American Muslim high school students to the areas of media\, law\,
  and government–avenues that shape public opinion and public policy.\n\n
 The program takes place in Sacramento. Over the course of MYLP\, you will:
 \n- Gain an in-depth understanding of California's legislative process\n- 
 Sharpen your leadership skills and gain valuable campaign and organizing 
 tools\n- Mock Legislature at the State Capitol: Serve as a senator for a d
 ay and debate important public policy issues ranging from elections\, educ
 ation and public safety.\n- Receive hands-on training in the areas of civi
 c engagement and media advocacy\n- Meet elected officials and improve your
  networking skills\n- Make new friends with other students from across Cal
