Arab Art at MoMA PS1
NEW YORK
*Meet at 2 PM on Friday at the Columbia Gates!*
On Friday, April 3rd, join Turath in visiting MoMA PS1 to check out two awesome exhibitions! The first, “Zero Tolerance,” examines the relationship between art and protest with works from all over the world, including Gaza and Egypt. It’s only here until April 13th, so now’s a great time to go! The second exhibition, “Cabaret Crusades,” showcases the work of experimental Egyptian artist Wael Shawky. Using avant garde marionettes and puppets, Shawky has created a film trilogy about the Crusades from the Arab perspective.

We will meet at the Broadway 116th gates at 2 pm and take the subway to the museum in Queens. We hope to see you all there!
