Alsarah + the Nubatones in Concert

Alsarah is a Sudanese-born singer, songwriter and ethnomusicologist. With the Brooklyn-based Nubatones — Mawuena Kodjovi (bass), Brandon Terzic (oud), and Rami El-Aasser (percussion) — she released the group’s debut album silt (Wonderwheel Recordings), landing on Top 10 world music lists for many blogs and radio shows.
Concert-goers may enjoy a reception with light refreshments from 7:30-8 p.m.
