 om the Gaza 5K walk/run will benefit UNRWA’s Community Mental Health Pro
 gram for Palestinian children in Gaza suffering from psychological trauma 
 and PTSD due to the devastating crisis of July-August 2014 and the prolong
 ed blockade. Many of these already vulnerable children have now lived thro
 ugh three traumatic rounds of violence\, witnessing death\, destruction\, 
 and displacement. It’s estimated that almost 100% of children in Gaza no
 w require immediate counseling.\n\nThese children need our support now\, a
 nd that’s why your participation is so critical. Whether you participate
  as a sponsor\, runner\, walker\, or cheerleader\, we want to see you ther
 e!\n\nABOUT THE GAZA 5K:\n\nBy participating\, you will directly support U
 NRWA’s psycho-social support program to provide these children with crit
 ically needed counseling services\, offering them a safe space to express 
 their emotions and fears\, and the opportunity to work with trained counse
