CAIR-MI to Award Rosa Parks Scholarships

CAIR-MI will award four high school seniors the Rosa Parks Scholarship at the annual banquet “Faith in Freedom,” on April 13, 2014 at the Burton Manor in Livonia, Mich. The Keynote speaker will be Mehdi Hasan, British political journalist and TV anchor. Buy Tickets Here.

Michigan students can use the $500 scholarship to pursue further education. Applicants should write a 500-word essay describing the struggle of Rosa Parks and relating it to the current civil rights struggle. Essays should be post-marked by April 2 and sent to the CAIR-MI office.

Tickets – $50/adult, $30/student, $10/child, Reserve a table for $450. Babysitting is available for children 6 months to
12-years-old.
