The American-Arab Heritage Council was established in 1980 by a small group of concerned American Arab citizens in the Flint area. The AAHC has progressed as a non-political and non-sectarian grass roots organization for American Arabs, and non-Arab Americans who are interested in preserving Arabic heritage and culture. For over 30 years, the AAHC has grown substantially through its membership and services. The AAHC has become a community leader by sponsoring numerous programs, delivering important services, and assisting all people, regardless of religion, political ideology or national origin.
