Arab Americans Will Rally Today to Support Libyan, Bahraini and Yemeni People as They Seek Freedom
The Congress of Arab American Organizations in Michigan (CAAO) denounces the horrendous war crimes being committed by Libyan dictator Muammer Qaddhafi against the Libyan people who are rising up in protest over 40 years of his dictatorial regime. Also, they stand as one with Bahraini and Yemeni people as they seek their freedom.
CAAO calls on supporters of freedom to join as one united voice, rally together and take a strong stand against the atrocious and criminal acts by the governments of Libya, Bahrain, and Yemen against their own citizens. The rally will be held TODAY, Friday, February 25, 2011 at 3:00 PM. in front of Dearborn City Hall on Michigan Ave.

Why: Arab Americans will protest the actions of the Libyan, Bahraini and Yemeni governments against their own people, and to demand that the Obama administration stand clearly and unequivocally with these people as they seek democracy and freedom in their own countries.
CAAO is an umbrella group for 40 Arab American organizations in southeastern Michigan.
