American Muslims, Interfaith Leaders and Public Officials Reject Hate and Extremism with Massive Solidarity Event in Metro Detroit

Metro Detroit- Dozens of area mosques, community activists and interfaith leaders are joining together in a massive gathering to reject hatred and extremism. The event is inspired by an outpouring of support for the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by Muslim Americans and other concerned Americans standing up to reject hate and extremism.

The gathering will be attended by over 1,000 community members, clergy, community leaders and public officials of all persuasions who continue to reject the messages of hate and Islamaphobia that have escalated in recent months and years, most recently with the production of the infamous film “Innocence of Muslims”.

The event will feature religious clerics of all several faiths, community leaders and public officials that will pledge to raise the slogan “No to Hate, No to Violence, and Yes to Unity”.
