American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) Moving Forward Calls For Renewed Focus And Community Healing In Michigan
In light of the completion of its recent investigation of allegations against its former Michigan Director, Imad Hamad, the board of directors of The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is calling for community healing and unity in Michigan and pledges a renewed focus on its mission of protecting the civil rights and civil liberties of Arab Americans.
ADC does not, and will not, tolerate any form of discrimination within its organization or community, including in employment practices and the workplace. Further, ADC wants to formally thank and acknowledge the responsibility and courage of the women who came forward to participate in the investigation; we recognize the sensitive and emotional circumstances required of them throughout this process.

Abed Ayoub (ADC’s Director of Policy & Legal Affairs) will serve as Interim Director of the Michigan office, and work with a volunteer liaison committee to begin preparations for transition. Imad Hamad has been retained as an advisor for ADC Michigan and Mr. Ayoub, throughout the appointment and transition of a new Director.
