ADC Michigan Announces Winners of 11th Annual MLK Scholarship Contest

Under the auspices of the American-Arab Center for Civil and Human Rights (ACCHR), ADC Michigan is pleased to announce the winners of its 11th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Contest, which was open to all Arab and Chaldean American high school seniors in Michigan. This year’s honorees are:

1st Place Award Winner:
–Diab Ali- Fordson High School

2nd Place Award Winner:
–Houda Zreik- Fordson High School

3rd Place Award Winner:
–Ali Mohamed Reda – Fordson High School

4th Place Award Winner:
–Sahar Adora- Fordson High School

Merit Award Winners:
–Batool Saad- Fordson High School
–Saher Omer- Melvindale High School
–Ranya Ilayian- Fordson High School
–Mona Saleh- Universal Academy
–Samar Abboud – Crestwood High School
–Zainab Alsamarae- Fordson High School
–Rima Imad Fadlallah- Fordson High School

The scholarship recipients will be honored during ADC Michigan’s Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Awards Dinner on Friday, January 29, 2010, at 6:00pm, at the Byblos Banquet Center in Dearborn. This event is by invitation only.
