Composer & Pianist Malek Jandali at the Annual ADC National Convention
ADC is honored to announce that award-wining composer & pianist Malek Jandali will perform live at the Gala Banquet Dinner during the ADC National Convention on Saturday evening June 11, 2011, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel (2660 Woodley Road, NW, Washington, DC, 20008).
Mr. Jandali is a world-renowned pianist and the first composer to arrange and orchestrate the oldest music notation in the world, discovered in the Bronze Age city of Ugarit, Syria, dating back to 3400 BC. Guests and attendees will have the unique opportunity to listen to original works from the album “Echoes from Ugarit” which was recorded in Moscow with The Russian Philharmonic Orchestra. The Gala evening will also feature a recently composed work by Mr. Jandali titled “Watani Ana: I am my homeland” accompanied by vocalists Salma Habib & Ali Waad.
