National Arab American Service Day: Cambridge Cleanup Initiative

Join us on May 16 for the National Arab-American Service Day, as we volunteer with The Charles River Conservancy, to clean up the Parklands along Memorial Drive.
This is a great chance to take part in this national initiative, as we give back to our community and help cleanup our beautiful city.
Project Description: Local park clean-up, clearing debris, and painting benches with the Charles River Conservancy.

We’ll meet outside the Harvard Square Station on the Red Line and walk over to the parklands at 8:30am.
Duration: 8:30am-12:00pm

Type of Work: We will be picking up trash and debris and painting park benches.
What To Bring:
• Appropriate outdoor work clothing (you might get dirty)
• Work boots or sturdy shoes (no sandals, please!)
• Water (in a reusable bottle, if possible)
• The Conservancy will provide gloves and any necessary tools.
Please bring water and a light snack with you.
