Book Focus: Wayfarers to God – Wayfarers to God  (Ma’alim as-Suluk) was a series of Arabic lectures for women, given by Al-Habib Ali Al-Jifri.  The lectures were then transcribed into a book which focuses on women’s “Suluk” or the path of drawing closer to Allah by way of spiritually cleansing the heart.  Habib Ali Al-Jifri was born into a family of noble lineage extending in an unbroken chain to Imam Husain, the grandson of the Prophet (SAW). He is from Tarim, Yemen and received a classical Islamic education.
