About Yvonne Yazbeck Haddad
Yvonne Yazbeck Haddad is professor of the History of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations at Georgetown University. She has taught at Vassar College, Colgate University, Hartford Seminary, and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She has served as the past president of the Middle East Studies Association and the American Academy of Religion, New England Region, as well as vice president of Arab-American University Graduates.
