The UNC National Lawyers Guild is bringing human rights lawyer Noura Erakat to UNC-CH to give two talks about Israel’s violations of humanitarian law during Operation Protective Edge in summer 2014 and about the implications of International Criminal Court jurisdiction. Professor Noura Erakat is a human rights attorney and activist. She is an Assistant Professor at George Mason University, and has taught international human rights law in the Middle East at Georgetown University since Spring 2009. Noura is a Co-Editor of Jadaliyya.
