ACC's Seventh Annual Golf Outing to Support Academic Scholarships
On Wednesday, July 8th the Arab American & Chaldean Council (ACC) will host the Seventh Annual Golf Outing & Scholarship Awards Dinner, benefiting the ACC Scholarship Awards Program at West Bloomfield’s Shenandoah Country Club, located at 5600 Walnut Lake Road.
ACC is proud to announce Dr. Lou Anna K. Simon, President of Michigan State University, and General Barry R. McCaffrey, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Global Linguist Solutions, will serve as the event’s Honorary Chairs.
“GLS commends the Arab American and Chaldean Council on its 30 years of service to the community in Metro Detroit. Your scholarship program, which aims to enhance the educational opportunities available to students, helps to strengthen the base of both the Arab and Chaldean American communities. We are proud to be a partner in this notable endeavor,” said General McCaffrey.
Registration is at 10 a.m. and golfers are set to tee off 11:15 a.m. followed by cocktails and the awards dinner, where graduates will receive scholarships. ACC hopes to ensure the academic success of the deserving students.
ACC is the premier non-profit human service organization providing services to the Middle Eastern and mainstream communities in Southeast Michigan. Furthermore, ACC provides better opportunities to enable newcomers to adjust to their new environment.
