You may recall my niece Ayah’s battle for her life at Johns Hopkins. She was able to fight through 2 liver transplants but then the medicine meant to save her life ended up becoming a main cause for her latest battle which is Cancer. My sister’s family and even my own spent weeks and months away from home because Ayah was fighting for her life and we had to be close. She could not just leave her new born 50 miles away. We were trying our best to stay strong and have faith that Ayah would survive.

The Believe In Tomorrow Children’s House was by far our biggest blessing outside of the hospital because we had a place to go. We had a home away from home. During that 1 hour away from Ayah we had a place to sit, eat, and try to recover and collect our thoughts. At any moment we could get a call to run back to her room because suddenly her situation got much worse.

This place runs on donations and has a common area kitchen and living space as well as toys for kids to play with. The families are often struggling to make themselves a meal or have something to eat.

On January 24th I need your help. SIGN UP TO HELP US COOK A MEAL. We will need to be there by 3pm so the dinner is ready by 6pm.
