Children of War Rescue Project
The Children of War Rescue Project provides pro bono medical, surgical and rehabilitative care for children who have been traumatized by war. The organization also works to educate the general public about the human costs of war by offering local opportunities for volunteers to assist some of its most innocent victims. In the mid-1990s, CWRP worked with several UN NGOs helping to evacuate more than 100 wounded children during the war in Bosnia, and helping to provide these children with pro bono medical care. Today the oranization is working with the International Organization for Migration's Iraq mission based in Amman, Jordan, helping to provide similar care for the war-wounded children of Iraq and Afghanistan. __________________________________________
