Fatut - Scrambled Eggs and Bread

Makes a great breakfast dish.
Serves from 4 to 6.

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups small pieces of Arabic bread (pita)
  • 5 eggs, beaten with 2 teaspoons zhug, 1 teaspoon hulbah and 1/8 teaspoon salt

Melt butter in a frying pan, then stir-fry bread pieces until they begin to brown. Pour eggs over bread. Stir for few minutes until eggs are cooked. Serve hot.
