The Arab Film Festival in California Now Accepting Submissions

If you’re a budding filmmaker and would like your 15 minutes of fame, then the Arab Film Festival is now accepting submissions for their 18th Annual Festival that is set to be held in the San Francisco Bay Area in October 2014.
The AFF annually showcases works by independent Arabic filmmakers that provide insightful and innovative perspectives on Arab people, culture, art, history and politics.
This year’s festival particularly welcomes Comedies, Video art, Animation and Children’s Films.
The Festival kicks off on Oct 10 with the San Francisco Premiere of “May in the Summer,” which was directed by Cherien Dabis. The SF Premiere Opening Ceremony and Film begin at 7:30pm.
The Film Festival will be in the following California locations at the below dates:
October 10 – 23 San Francisco Bay Area
November 7 – 12 Los Angeles
November 20 – 22 San Diego
