Annual Ann Arbor Palestine Film Festival features critically acclaimed films
MARCH 19-22, 2015
Opening night for the fourth annual Ann Arbor Palestine Film Festival is this Thursday March 19th at 7:30 at the Michigan Theater. Opening night will feature the short film, “ISMAIL” directed by Nora Alsharif, followed by the feature film “MARS AT SUNRISE”, directed by Jessica Habie.
This year’s festival also includes other short and feature films as well as post-screening “Talk Backs” with directors, including world-renowned director Suha Arraf who will discuss her recent film VILLA TOUMA after its screening on Friday March 20th at Rackham Amphitheater. On Saturday March 21st, director Danielle Schwartz and University of Michigan Professor Anton Shammas will host a panel discussion about Schwartz’s new short film MIRROR IMAGE.
